CYCLING THROUGH THE COUNTRYSIDE

Lienz in East Tyrol is an ideal starting point not only for mountain bike tours (19 trails in Lienz alone) but also for road trips (Dolomites Tours, Giro del Trentino, Tour of Austria) and, of course, family tours (riverside cycling trails along the Isel, the Lesser Drau and the Greater Drau).
What's more, Lienz is a popular stage destination on the long-distance cycleway between Bressanone/Brixen and Lake Wörth.

Very popular for our guests is the cycling trail along the Drau from Innichen (Italy) to Lienz. We recommend: With special "Biker trains" to Innichen in South Tyrol and then you can ride comfortable with the bike ca. 40km downriver.

Trail along Isel: Also here you have the possibility to go to Matrei by bus and then with the bike back to Lienz.

Trail along Drau (Carinthia): Along the drau until the village Oberdrauburg or Berg, also suitable for children. You can go back by train.
